Laura, The trip to Argentina was wonderful and we were extremely impressed with the services provided by the various in-country representatives. The drivers were on-time and waiting to meet us. We were especially impressed that upon arrival at the Buenos Aires airport, the drivers' phone rang, I was handed the phone and welcomed to the country and asked if there had been any problems.
The same thing happened upon leaving. This attention to customer service and a focus on hospitality is what sets organizations apart and keeps clients returning. The hotel was very good and we enjoyed our trip through the Iguazu park. Thank you again for arranging the trip on very short notice. Your efforts, as well, are much appreciated.

Laura, I just wanted to thank you for coordinating our travel to Iguazu and Ushuaia. My friends and I returned back to the States a few days ago and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Argentina.

What a great country! Both of the hotels we stayed in were very nice and the drivers and guides with the tour companies were kind and informative. Please pass this on to the tour companies directly. Hello Laura, we were very content with the service on our Patagonian trip, everything functioned perfectly. Our guide in Ushuaia came personally to our hotel to inform us about a delayed plane, and came back to fetch us at the right time for departure. Our guide on the trip to Peninsula Valdes, Felicita, was extremely good, she had great knowledge of nature/animals and plants, and the driver had a special eye for observing small and large animals along the road while driving.

The museum in Trelew was also great, we did not know that skeletons of prehistoric animals was found in Argentina. This trip to Patagonia had to be done by plane, because of the distances. It is quite all right to travel by bus in Argentina. There are several bus companied that supply very comfortable night buses. We went by ViaBariloche to San Ignacio and a local bus from Posadas further to Puerto Iguazu. The bus company Andesmar brought us from Iguazu to Salta with change of buses in Posadas and Tucuman (Flecha Bus). In Salta, there was a great variety of companies that organized tours in the district. We tried a couple of them, and both were satisfactory. We went on 4 full day trips, to Cachi, to Cafayate, to Humahuaca and to Salinas grandes. A Flecha night bus brought us back to Buenos Aires.

We also walked a lot in the city, so we got to know it quite well. But, we were surprised about not finding shops with clothes for 'ordinary' and 'senior' women, all we could find was fancy shops with the latest hits for teenagers and young, tall and slim women! Sandra, thank you very much for coordinating our trip within Argentina. We loved the 4-day excursion to Salta, the northwest of Argentina is just beautiful. Our hotel, Hotel Salta, was in a perfect location, right on the corner of the main plaza in the city so we enjoyed easily walking around town and the hotel itself is very quaint in the traditional style of the country - dark wood and Spanish tiles.

We added a city tour the day we arrived in order to see a lot in a short amount of time. Vanessa, our tour guide from Tastil, the local tour provider, was wonderful. We enjoyed meeting her so much that we hired her to accompany us in a rental car to tour the area south of Salta in the Quebrada de Cafayate, the day after our included tour north to the Quebrada de Humahuaca. I would also highly recommend a restaurant and folkloric show called La Vieja Estacion in Salta.

The only glitch in plans, and it was fairly minor, was that the local tour company did not have the correct flight arrival and departure times. After a phone call to the contact in Buenos Aires upon arrival in Salta, they quickly got a van from the local tour company to pick us up at the airport. I spoke with the people in the tour office (very close to our hotel) to correct the departure time. We toured and saw a lot in the time we had and all four of us left feeling that our time in Salta was one to be remembered. It was a vacation within our vacation. Thanks again, Gretchen

Laura - Another great visit to Argentina. Our hotel at Mendoza was fine, nice and central; it also had a decent restaurant as we were so tired at the end of our sightseeing tours that all we wanted to do was eat in the hotel and go to bed!! We had forgotten that day trips in Argentina meant just that!! Leave at 7-00am and return at 8-30pm.

Both agencies used young students as guides. This was fine in Mendoza, however in Salta the agency didn't provide departure times for the Movitrak safari. I had to go direct to the Movitrak Office and sort out the details. They were very helpful and they also had the details of our bird watching trip and they contacted Ricardo Clark and passed on information of our pick times.

Hotel Salta was also of good quality. These were a couple of minor problems that were easy to sort. We really enjoyed our stay and who knows, we may return in a couple of years. Finally thanks for your help in organising a never to be forgotton holiday.

Laura, My husband and I are home resting after a marvelous trip to Argentina and Uruguay. Everything went well, no hitches. We enjoyed all of the excursions, except the Estancia "La Bonita" . The trip to Iguazu Falls was fantastic. We had a wonderful and exciting time in the park. Our young, beautiful guide was terrific. We enjoyed the tango show immensely.

The trip to Montevideo was interesting and enjoyable. The accommodations and meals were also excellent. Most of all, thank you very much, for putting together a wonderful trip for us. Best regards, Madge S.
