Wild Game Recipe – Kelly’s Deer Pot Pie

Deer Pot Pie

1lb of deer burger

2 cans of Cream of Potato Soup

1 small bag of frozen vegetables

2 Cups of shredded cheese (your choice)

Pillsbury Pie Crusts (top and bottom)

Preheat oven to 350

Brown and season with your favorite seasonings deer burger in skillet keeping the juices. Boil the mixed vegetables and then drain well. In a large bowl combine deer burger, drained vegetables, both cans of soup and shredded cheese. Roll out one crust and place in the bottom of pie dish and fill with entire deer mixture. Place the other crust on top, crimping the edges and then cut in little slits on the top of the crust. Bake for about 30 to 45 minutes or until crust is cooked and light brown. Let cool before cutting. Yum!!!
